Alaskan Home Services is proud to be a participating contractor in Tucson Electric Power’s Efficient Home Program, which offers up to $1,000 in financial incentives to make energy-efficient home improvements that can help reduce your monthly electric bill.
Your air conditioner or heat pump uses more energy than any other system in your home. An inefficient air conditioning system can result in higher electric bills and lost comfort.
Through TEP’s Efficient Home Program, local companies like Alaskan can conduct a detailed in-home energy efficiency audit to help you choose improvements and identify available incentives.
During a screening, a specially trained Alaskan Home Services employee will analyze the energy use of your air conditioning system using the CheckMe!® computer diagnostic. The CheckMe! system, refined over 20 years of use by thousands of air conditioning service technicians, will be used to look for common issues including:
- Incorrect refrigerant level
- Low airflow through the indoor coil
- Duct system air leakage
This CheckMe! diagnostic has been used to detect problems in more than 250,000 homes nationwide and will allow our technician to correct common problems during the visit to your home, increasing your home efficiency.
